This design always reminds me of a photo frame, and the stone certainly is as pretty as a picture. The stone is 13mm by 10mm, with the overall setting being 16mm by 13mm. Inside the shank is the makers mark W&G for Wilson and Gill alongside a partial hallmark for 9ct gold, dating pre 1975. The ring has been resized at some point, hence the partial hallmark.
The weight is 4.25g.
