Here is a great example of a claddagh ring. This is a traditional Irish ring that represents Love, Loyalty and Friendship – the heart represents Love, the crown Loyalty, and the hands Friendship. This substantial piece is 17mm at the widest point. The shank bears the makers or sponsors mark of COS alongside a full hallmark for 9ct gold, having been assayed in Sheffield in 2001.
