This little beauty is a most eye catching piece. There is a central east west set opal which displays a fantastic play of colour. Surrounding this is a halo of inky blue black sapphires which also extend down the shoulders, just delightful. The opal is 6mm by 4mm with the overall design being 9mm by 11mm. The maker or sponsors mark is YS and there is a full hallmark indicating 9ct gold, having been assayed in London in 1984.
The weight is 2.43g.
