This is just lovely. I can see this as a beautiful alternative wedding ring if you wanted something a bit different to a simple band. Buckles were traditionally given as love tokens, so this would just follow that path perfectly. It is suitable for all and has some very subtle details which add to its charms. The buckle is the widest point at 11mm and the back of the band narrows to 7mm, so this may fit a little smaller than the actual size listed. The shank bears a markers mark of L&W for Lister and Wright Ltd and has a full hallmark for 9ct gold, having been assayed in Birmingham in 1983.
The weight is 8.35g.
