So it would appear I can’t pass up a moss agate. There is just something about the way these stones look that captivate me. The stone is 14mm x 10mm and the simple setting enhances the beauty of the stone. There is a stamp for 9ct gold but no datemark. I would estimate her to be 1970s.
The size is a UK O 1/2 or a US 7 3/4, weight is 2.22g.
Please note this item is not new and therefore is sold as is. Vintage items will generally have some age related wear. In this case there is a small nibble from the stone near one claw but it’s very difficult to see even if you are aware of it.
