This ring is really quite incredible. I have yet to see another like it. Here we have a large tigers eye with a detailed cameo inset into the stone. That extra touch is most certainly why the detail is still in such beautiful condition, given that it is almost 40 years old. The multi claw ornate gallery ensures that this is a definite conversation piece, I love it! The oval stone is 20mm by 15mm with the setting extending the overall size is 23mm by 18mm. The sponsor or makers mark is a little tricky to read, I think HK. There is a full hallmark indicating 9ct gold, having been assayed in London in 1973.
