This popular design has a four claw eagle or dragon talon holding a carnelian ball of 9mm diameter. The overall talon is 22mm by 13mm. There is a sponsor or makers mark of PDs alongside a full hallmark for 9ct gold, having been assayed in Birmingham in 1964.
