This vibrant beauty leapt out as me from a large display case. I really couldn’t take me eyes off it, so it was an instant decision to fetch it back for the shop. The synthetic electric blue sapphire is 8mm in diameter and set in a broad shouldered textured band which works wonderfully with the stone. The balls around the setting add extra interest – if you can tear your eyes from the stone! The shank has a maker or sponsors mark of RP alongside a full hallmark for 9ct gold, having been assayed in Birmingham in 1976.
