This fully working heart padlock is the first one I have seen with this sunburst design to the front. The design catches the light and makes a perfect pendant, ideal for a wide age range and so pretty. The padlock still works securely, clicking open and closed on applied pressure.
The heart is 15mm by 14mm, overall including the clasp it is 21mm high. The makers mark is S&K and it was assayed as 9ct gold in London in 1963. There is a faint hallmark visible to the front also, this is not a fault. The weight is 2.36g.
