Isn’t this just charming? A geometric design cluster ring comprising of thirteen varying garnet stones whose rich reds I think work perfectly with yellow gold, this is very striking on the hand. There is a central stone of 5mm squared, then eight smaller round stones encircling it and finally the four smallest stones form the corners of the design. The shank bears a sponsor or makers mark of W&G for Wilson and Gill. The re is also a full hallmark, having been assayed as 9ct gold in Birmingham in 1975.
