Those of you who follow me regularly will already know I am a big fan of this style ring. The scalloped or buttercup design allows maximum light around the stone to show off its true beauty. This fine example has on oval quartz of 12mm by 8mm. The overall size is 14mm at the widest point and the shank is stamped W&G for Wilson and Gill. There is also a full hallmark for 9ct gold, having been assayed in London in 1973.
The weight is 3.13g.
