This is a real beauty. The geometric cut of the stone and those fan shoulders strike me as being reminiscent of the art deco period, and it is probably fortunate for the shop that this is not my size! The stone is 14mm by 12mm, so this is a bold look.The shank bears the sponsor or makers mark of AJ Ld alongside a partially worn but pre 1975 hallmark for 9ct gold.
