Oh i do love a buttercup setting, and this example is fabulous. Here we have a 12mm by 10mm smoky quartz in an overall setting of 14mm by 15mm. The shank bears a sponsors mark of G&TJ alongside a hallmark for 9ct gold, having been assayed as an import in Sheffield. There is no specific date mark for this one.
