This funky little ring is a bit unusual and such a simple but clever idea . The east west set pear shaped topaz forms the head of a snake, the body of which then wraps round the finger with the narrowing tail forming a bypass design. Perfect, even if you don’t like snakes!
The sky blue topaz is 8mm by 5mm and the ring was hallmarked as 9ct gold in Edinburgh between 1975 and 1998. I cant quite make out the makers mark. possibly GD.
The weight is 2.26g.
