I would be the first to admit that seventies fashion is possibly not the most elegant era, but you do certainly get striking and solid pieces from this decade. This quirky example showcases six dark blue sapphires surrounding a tiny diamond centre, with the overall size being 10mm in diameter. The broad patterned shoulders are a fascinating addition to the piece and really make it stand out. The shank carries a sponsor or makers mark of LH alongside a full hallmark indicating 9ct gold, having been assayed in London in 1977.
