This is a super little ring with a classical grace which would appeal to a variety of people. She has a central Ruby of approx 2mm flanked by two tiny diamonds on each side, overall being approx 6mm x 15mm. The warm yellow of 18ct gold offsets the stone beautifully. I believe this ring is likely to be antique, possibly Edwardian as it certainly matches other pieces of that era. It appears the shank has been replaced at some point, which sadly has lost the hallmark. As it now only states 18ct I can’t with certainty date it, but the head appears consistent with the early 1900 time period. However the replaced shank is now very substantial so the lucky new owner can look forwards to many more years of wear without the worry of a thinning band. Best of both worlds!
The size is a UK O or a US 7 1/2, the replaced shank helps to gives a good weight of 2.38g.
