When I was processing this piece it dawned on me that it is nearly 50 years old already. Here is a traditional cluster design ring with a central small diamond encircled with an eight piece ruby halo and the setting is 10mm in diameter overall.
The shank bears a sponsor or makers mark of HS alongside a full hallmark for 18ct gold, having been assayed in Sheffield in 1974.
The weight is 3.76g.
