This little beauty tests as a natural alexandrite. These rare pieces exhibit colour changes and this one is no exception, albeit quite subtle. I have photographed it extensively in an attempt to show you the variations, with equally varying success! Please excuse the quality of some of the photos, I was trying to capture the colours….
The stone is 7mm by 4mm and is set into 18ct yellow gold, having a makers mark of GTV alongside the full hallmark from the Birmingham assay office dating to 2005.
The weight is 2.16g.
