This absolutely beautiful amethyst is a joy to look at. The light catches the stone so well, there are flashes of pinks and purples galore in this one. The stone is 12mm x 8mm and set in a later version of the classic seventies buttercup setting of 15mm by 12mm overall.
In this case the hallmark indicating 9ct gold was assayed in 1998. The weight is 3.25g.
