This gorgeous classic design has a fiery opal surrounded by a halo of 12 garnets. The opal is 10mm by 8mm and has a mesmerising play of colour to distract you from any job you are trying to do. The overall setting is 16mm by 14mm in total. The shank has a sponsor or makers mark of A & AJ alongside a full hallmark for 9ct gold ,having been assayed in London in 1977.
The weight is 3.48g.
Please note there is a mark to the opal on the one side between two claws, as shown in the photos. It is tiny and does not detract from the piece when worn, price reflects this age related wear.
