This magnificent pale green synthetic spinel is a whopping 20mm by 15mm and set in an equally substantial gallery, so it looks fabulous from any direction. There is a partially obscured sponsor or makers mark starting Ro alongside a full hallmark for 9ct gold, having been assayed in Birmingham in 1971.
