This fabulous statement ring is a big flashy look on the finger. There is an intricate centurion intaglio which reflects perfectly off the metallic sheen of the hematite. The hematite in turn is enhanced by the broad shoulders of the shank. I believe this could be worn by a lady or a gent. Hematite is reputed to be a powerful protection stone, so this makes a gift with added meaning. The stone itself is 15mm by 12mm, with the overall setting being 17mm at the widest point. There is an import halllmark for 9ct gold, having been assayed in London in 1966. The shank also bears a stamp of 10k gold and the maker or sponsors mark of MJ.
