This lovely stone is one of my absolute favourites. I love how there is almost a metallic sheen to the hematite, which in turn makes it perfect for carving. This centurion soldier is created in a 12mm by 10mm stone which is also thought to be a powerful protection stone that absorbs negative energy if you follow any crystal healing. I’m happy to go along with that and I certainly find I am drawn to these stones. Even without that, it is a great look on the finger! The shank carries the maker’s mark AJ ltd and was assayed in London in 1965.
The size is a N or a US 7, weight is 3.04g.
