This simple classic ring would suit a huge variety of individuals. The plain cartouche is 11mm by 13mm and would easily take initials if you so wished. There is the faint remnants of a pattern to one shoulder which could be polished out if you preferred, but I quite like this nod to its past as is. There is a sponsor or makers mark of E&W which I think may be Eaton & Wrighton. Some of the hallmark has worn away, what is remaining is pre 1975. Given the maker, it could actually be significantly older, ie. 1910/1920s.
