This is an absolute whopper and yes, it is as heavy as it looks. The most simple and effective design, this has a buckle front and is very comfortable to wear. Traditionally given as love tokens, I think this one would make a magnificent wedding band. The buckle is 18mm wide, with the band only tapering to 12mm at the rear, so this will fit more comfortably on a smaller finger than the actual size stated. Inside the shank is a makers mark of V.W.A. alongside full hallmarks for 9ct gold, having been assayed in Birmingham in 1967.
