Regular clients will know I always keep a few padlocks in stock, and this was an instant decision as soon as I saw it. There is engraving to both the front and the rear alongside a short safety chain. Even the clasp has been thought about and not left plain. This is delightful. Is is also fully working, opening and closing securely on applied pressure.
The heart itself is 19mm by 16mm, overall including the clasp it is 25mm in length. There is a makers mark of AJ Co and a full hallmark for 9ct gold, having been assayed in London in 1971.
The weight is 4.44g.
There is slight age related wear to the engraving to the bottom of the rear side, but this is still a beautiful item.
