This simple design just goes to show that things don’t need to be fancy to be beautiful. Here we have a plain wide shouldered setting with a single yellow citrine set in a less common east west way. It is at first glance quite subtle, but don’t be fooled, that yellow stone is quite mesmerising! The citrine is 10mm by 8mm. The shank has the maker or sponsors mark of W& G for Wilson and Gill. Alongside this is a full hallmark for 9ct gold, having been assayed in Birmingham in 1977.
