Bloodstone, otherwise known as heliotrope, is a much underrated stone in my opinion. It is a dark green green with splashes of red which gives rise to its common name. This signet showcases a 12mm by 10mm stone, with the overall setting being 14mm at the widest point. There is a sponsor or makers mark of AJ Co and a full hallmark for 9ct gold, having been assayed in Birmingham in 1972.
The weight is 3.71g.
