This fantastic ring displays a single large heliotrope or bloodstone. The name is derived from the tiny red splashes in the dark green stone which look like flecks of blood. The stone itself is 19mm by 12mm with the rope effect setting taking the overall size to 18mm by 14mm. The shank carries a makers mark of DJE and has a full hallmark indicating 9ct gold, having been hallmarked in Birmingham in 1962.
The weight is 3.60g.
