Well this is a little unusual and very bold! She’s built around the gem to maximize the light to give you the most of the colour play in the stone. She is a synthetic colour change sapphire, sometimes known as Alexandrite. It’s a little tricky to capture all the colour, but there are some blues in there too. The stone is 13mm diameter and she’s originally from Egypt, giving her Egyptian hallmarks for 12k gold.
The size is a UK N 1/2 or a US 7 1/2, weight is 4.08g.
