I shall admit I am a complete pushover when it comes to amethyst, so this was a very easy addition to the shop. The stone is 13mm by 9mm with the overall setting being 17mm at the widest point. The shank carries the maker or sponsors mark of R.Bs for Rolason Brothers, and it was assayed at 9ct gold in Birmingham in 1973.
The weight is 3.37g.
Please note the stone is not completely eye clean, it has natural inclusions as can be seen in the video.
