There’s a little tale with this ring. It arrived with me with a bright pink stone in that just didn’t feel right to me at all. I had my jeweller swap it for the amethyst you now see in the piece and I am much more content with the finished product. I hope you agree with me.
The amethyst is 11mm by 9mm. The shank bears a partial hallmark, indicating it was assayed as 9ct gold in Birmingham, but without a specific date mark.
The weight is 2.52g.
