This is a lovely example of an Albert or T bar. The toggle was originally designed to wear with pocket watches and was made famous by Prince Albert (husband of Queen Victoria) as he had a particular like for them. They have remained very popular ever since and can be plain or as fancy as the imagination can take you! I try and keep a few variation of these in stock and this particular one is in 9ct rose gold, is 26mm long and 4mm in diameter at the widest point. There is a maker or sponsors mark of HPJ and the item dates to 1973.
