This gorgeous example of an amethyst ring is vibrant and substantial. The deep purple has long been associated with Royalty, and it is easy to see why. The stones are further enhanced by four tiny diamond accents which sparkle and brighten the setting, enabling the rich colour to display to maximum effect.
The largest central stone is 7mm by 5mm with the overall setting being 8mm wide. The shank bears a hallmark dating between 1975 and 1998, having been assayed as 9ct gold in Birmingham. There is no makers mark in this instance.
The weight is 3.13g.
Please note there is a tiny flea bite out of the outer side of one of the amethyst, between the side claws, which is visible with a loupe. It does not detract from the ring when worn.
