Not only is it that warm old gold colour, with a distinct rose hue when compared to modern pieces, the font on the back is another giveaway. The heart portion is 18mm by 16mm , with the overall size including the clasp, 23mm. The rear is simply stamped 9c.

The weight is 2.53g.

The top of the heart section where it holds the clasp has been squeezed closer together at some point, but it still a fully working and secure clasp.
