A little word about synthetic stones, these have the exact same properties as a natural stone, just they are created by man rather than being formed naturally. They should not be confused with a simulated stone, which does not carry the same make up (a simulated stone could be coloured glass for example). So if you want a vibrant blue sapphire which you can treat in exactly the same way as a natural sapphire but for a fraction of the cost, then synthetic/lab created stones are absolutely worth considering, and this example is 10mm by 8mm.
Whilst I am on a role, 10k/10ct means the same thing, it’s just the US/UK language differences. In the UK we define gold in carats (ct) and in the US you use karats (k). Same value (1/24th of pure gold per ct/k) just different ways of expressing it.
