Time Period: 1910s
Material: 9ct Yellow Gold
Theme: Medallions
This ornate crown pendant is engraved to the rear M. & D. A.R.A. who were worthy enough winners to be given this solid 9ct gold medallion. This is where I really wish we had the history of these old pieces. Assuming the White Lion was a pub, what were they competing at? This is 42mm high by 28mm wide and has a makers mark of G.F.B. for George Frank BIckerton, having been assayed in Birmingham in 1913.
The weight is 10.19g.
