This super carnelian solitaire has broad split shoulders which become a feature in their own right. The polished cabochon is 14mm by 5mm and the closed back design makes it supremely comfortable to wear. There is a makers mark of MD alongside a full hallmark for 9ct gold, having been assayed in Sheffield in 1994.
