This marvellous take on the traditional acrostic ring is one I haven’t come across before, so it was an instant decision to add it to the shop. This is a modern twist on a dearest ring, in which the initials of the stones make a message for a loved one, and they werre traditionally given as love tokens. In this case, Diamond, Emerald, Amethyst, Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire and Tourmaline. The band overall is 4mm it the widest point. The shank bears the maker or sponsors mark HM, having been assayed as 18ct gold in Birmingham in 1997.
The weight is 4.01g.
Please note there are some flea bites to the facets of the ruby, but they do not detract from the piece.
