This elegant simple padlock is vintage but still very much on trend. The warm pinky gold hue is fairly subtle as these older pieces often are. I’ve added a photo of it next to a yellow gold T bar for comparison. The padlock itself is fully working, opening and closing upon applied pressure, so it could easily be used as a bracelet or necklace clasp if required. Personally I think these make marvellous pendants and perfect gift ideas.
For this particular example the heart section is 16mm high by 14mm wide, which extends to 21mm high including the clasp. This is an older piece, without a full hallmark, but having 9ct stamped to the rear. The clasp may have been replaced at some point and looks more yellow gold to me.
The weight is 2.57g.
