Anyone who follows me regularly will know I have a big soft spot for this style of ring. I think they are chunky, fun and the design really allows light to get underneath the stone which brings out it’s true brilliance. This one is a stunner. The neutral tones of the stone would work with a multitude of outfits. The design is almost squared and the patina works beautifully with the colour of the stone. The oval quartz stone is 13mm by 11mm and held within a double claw buttercup design which is 17mm by 17mm overall.
The shank bears a sponsor or makers mark of G & TJ, alongside a hallmark indicating 9ct gold, and dating to 1969.
The weight is 4.96g.
