Graduating Five Stone Opal Ring in 9ct Gold, a UK O or a US 7 1/4

I do love a good opal ring and its getting trickier to find them, so I snap one up whenever I can. This substantial piece is 7mm at the widest point across the central stone. The ornate gallery allows for plenty of light around the stones which in turn gives them chance to display their play of colour. The shank has a makers mark of MK and a full hallmark indicating 9ct gold, assayed in London in 1972.

The size is a UK O or a US 7 1/4, weight is 3.51g.
